Comprehensive Vocational Evaluations
Overview
A Comprehensive Vocational Evaluation offers an in-depth look at a person’s work-related strengths, interests, aptitudes, and barriers. It often includes standardized tests, work samples, simulations, interviews, and review of educational and employment history. The evaluation aims to provide a realistic, detailed picture of vocational potential and needs.
Purpose
These evaluations are especially helpful for individuals entering or re-entering the workforce, people with medical conditions or disabilities, and those involved with Vocational Rehabilitation or similar programs. They offer clear, practical information about types of work that may be a good fit. Recommendations often include suggestions for training, accommodations, and supports that can improve employment outcomes.
