Sharon Walzer, Ph.D.,

Post Doctoral Resident
Dr. Sharon Walzer earned her bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Florida International University and her master’s degree in Health Psychology from Northcentral University. She later completed her Ph.D. in Clinical Health Psychology at the California School of Professional Psychology–Los Angeles at Alliant International University.
Dr. Walzer completed her pre-doctoral internship at the Mental Health Center of Florida (MHC) in Fort Lauderdale, where she provided psychotherapy and conducted psychological assessments with a diverse population across the lifespan, including residents in assisted-living facilities and youth served by ChildNet. She also served as Chief Intern for her cohort during her training year.
Dr. Walzer’s clinical experience encompasses a wide range of settings, including inpatient drug rehabilitation, private practice, a pediatric neuropsychology unit, and community mental health programs. She uses an integrative therapeutic approach that honors each client’s unique needs. Her areas of specialization include anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, ADHD, PTSD, and substance use disorders. Dr. Walzer is dedicated to promoting holistic wellness and helping individuals develop resilience across biological, psychological, social, and spiritual domains.
