Rosemary Guzy

Vocational Evaluator
Rosemary “Rose” Guzy has worked as a vocational evaluator since 1983. She graduated from Western Michigan University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology and a minor in Psychology. Rose has extensive experience in vocational evaluation across multiple programs and populations, including individuals with medical impairments, economically disadvantaged individuals, students, and ex-offenders.
Rose is certified in a wide array of aptitude, academic, interest, and placement assessments. In addition to her work with Segel Psychological Center, she works part-time at Palm Beach State College, where she administers and proctors placement exams, admissions tests, online examinations, and correspondence testing.
Rose previously served as a vocational evaluator for Gulfstream Goodwill Industries and the State of Florida Office of Vocational Rehabilitation. She also worked in human resources for Palm Beach County’s Office of Employment Relations and Personnel, where she was responsible for testing and screening clerical applicants. Rose values the opportunity to work directly with individuals, noting that vocational assessment “never gets old.”
