Jane Collins received her bachelor’s degree in Sociology from York College of Pennsylvania and later earned a Certificate of Advanced Study in Education. She has more than 20 years of experience conducting comprehensive vocational evaluations for Gulfstream Goodwill Industries and local job training centers.
Jane and her colleagues were among the first in Florida to conduct On-the-Job Evaluations, allowing vocational assessment to occur within real work settings. During her time with Goodwill, she obtained certification to administer numerous assessments, including the McCarron-Dial System, the Perceptual Memory Task, and the Test of Adult Basic Education. She also has extensive experience working with individuals who are blind or visually impaired, administering tools such as the Cognitive Test for the Blind and subtests of the Comprehensive Vocational Evaluation System.
In 2014, Jane became certified in Discovery, a person-centered planning model that supports individuals with disabilities in developing an employment path aligned with their strengths and goals.
